PSD chief visits Diplomatic Security Department

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen Hussein Hawatmeh on Tuesday paid a visit to the Diplomatic Security Department, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Conveying His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings and appreciation to the department for its vital role in protecting Jordan’s guests and diplomatic missions, Hawatmeh reaffirmed support for the department’s development in 2021 by providing the necessary logistical backing, employing qualified cadres and offering modern machines.

Hawatmeh also listened to a briefing by the director of the department, during which he explained the most important tasks and duties undertaken by the department to secure protection of embassies, diplomatic staff and government departments.
