Police arrest suspected arsonist

AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department personnel have arrested a suspect in connection with the arson of more than 750 scrapped vehicles at the Zarqa Free Trade Zone, a Public Security Department said on Wednesday.
The suspect confessed to deliberately burning the vehicles “in retaliation against employees at the zone” who prevented him from entering the scrap yard because he has a criminal record.
