PM conveys King’s message to Abu Dhabi crown prince

Message affirms Kingdom’s solidarity with UAE

AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Saturday conveyed a message from His Majesty King Abdullah to Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his reception of the PM in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Khasawneh also conveyed the greetings and good wishes of His Majesty to the crown prince and the people of the UAE, expressing keenness to bolster relations in various fields. 

The message included an affirmation of Jordan’s permanent solidarity with and support towards the UAE, highlighting that its security is part of Jordan’s security. 

Khasawneh reiterated Jordan’s condemnation of the terrorist attacks that targeted the UAE, confirming that Jordan stands with the UAE in the face of any threat to its security and safety.

The PM stressed the depth of strategic relations that unite the countries, underlining ways to support and strengthen them in various fields to serve the interests of the countries and their  people.

Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his greetings and good wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah, focusing on the strong strategic relations that unite the “brotherly” countries. 

The crown prince also highlighted the advanced level reached through bilateral cooperation in all fields.

They both emphasised continuing to strengthen bilateral relations and maintaining consultation and coordination on various Arab, regional and international issues.

The prime minister arrived in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, on a short working visit, during which he held meetings with a number of officials in the UAE on bilateral relations, issues of common interest, and economic and investment cooperation. 

The meeting was attended by Jordan’s ambassador to the UAE Nassar Habashneh.
