Palestine envoy lauds Jordan’s continual support, assistance during COVID-19 crisis

AMMAN — Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan Atallah Khairi on Wednesday praised the Kingdom’s support to Palestine in all fields, mainly in curbing COVID-19.

In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Khairi highlighted His Majesty King Abdullah’s continuous affirmation during every meeting or call with President Mahmoud Abbas of Jordan’s support to Palestine.

The ambassador also expressed appreciation for the ministries of foreign affairs and health, the PSD department that administers border crossings and all stakeholders that have contributed to facilitating the return of Palestinians from abroad to their country through Jordan.

The diplomat added that the coordination between the two countries’ leaderships over COVID-19 and all other issues of mutual interest is at “the highest level”.
