‘Naval force thwarts illegal crossing into neighbouring country’

AMMAN — The Royal Naval Force on Tuesday foiled an attempt by a foreign national to cross Jordanian territorial water into a neighbouring country, according to a source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
The force applied the rules of engagement followed in such cases, resulting in the arrest of the man, who was referred to the concerned authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
