MoU signed in field of agriculture research

AMMAN — In the presence of HRH Princess Basma Bint Ali, chairperson of the board of trustees of the Hashemite Fund for the Development of the Jordan Badia (HFDJB), the fund and the University of Jordan's (UJ) faculty of agriculture signed a memorandum of understanding to support cooperation and develop scientific research and the agricultural sector, mainly in the badia region.

The memo was signed by HFDJB Director General Jamal Fayez and UJ President Nathir Obeidat, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Fayez said that the memo aims to improve the level and quality of work in agricultural projects owned by the fund in various parts of the Jordan badia. This includes exchanging expertise and developing scientific research in the agricultural sector, eventually boosting the capability of human resources for these projects. For his part, Obeidat expressed UJ's keenness to support all efforts that serve society at academic, research or technical levels.
