AMMAN — The newly-appointed ministers signed the code of honour that governs conduct and avoidance of conflict of interest, which was approved by the government earlier. The new ministers, during the Cabinet’s meeting held on Wednesday, signed the code of honour, which the Cabinet must abide by, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The code of honour aims to ensure ethical performance, and a discloser of any potential conflicts of interest that may arise when the ministers perform their duties.
The code also defines the duties and responsibilities that the ministerial teams undertake in order to ensure the implementation of programmes, projects and plans that will achieve national objectives.
