Krishan tours municipalities in Irbid

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krishan on Tuesday toured a number of municipalities in Irbid to check the quality of services provided, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The inspection tour came as a follow-up to the recent Royal visit to the area and His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives to attend to people’s needs and concerns.

Krishan emphasised that the demands of heads of the municipal committees to establish a modern slaughterhouse to serve all areas of the district will be studied, highlighting the need to maintain public cleanliness and the importance of residents’ cooperation with municipalities to serve this purpose.
