Korean Food Week 2022 to kick off in late September, mid October

AMMAN — The Korea Trade Centre (KOTRA) and the Commercial Section of the Korean Embassy are hosting Korean Food Week 2022 in September and October. The event will be held from September 22-24 at Cozmo near 7^th circle, and from October 13-15 at Carrefour in City Mall, according to a statement from KOTRA.

A Korean food tasting event will be held daily, from 11am to 2pm at Cozmo. Korean snacks such as Tteokbokki (simmered rice cakes) and Korean dumplings will be cooked on site by a chef specialised in Korean food, said the statement.

KOTRA is bringing in a total of 124 food products from 19 different Korean food companies for the event, including popular Korean products such as Korean kimchi, rice cakes, ramen, and sweets are to be featured at the event. This year's event also focuses on promoting Korean food amongst Jordanians who are not yet familiar with Korean food, and giving them the opportunity to experience Korean food.
