AMMAN — The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency in Jordan (KOTRA Amman) will cooperate with COZMO, the local distribution network, to launch online and offline sales of Korean foods, according to a KOTRA Amman statement.
The Korean food launching event will be held from June 10 to June 12 in COZMO.
Through this event, about 50 popular Korean foods such as dumplings, red pepper paste, tofu and tteokbokki products from Korean companies, SMEs and local companies will be introduced in COZMO.
For the promotion of this event, Mshaheer Kpop, K-POP influencer in Jordan, which has about 700,000 followers, will produce un-boxing and review video clips of the food introduced, according to the statement.
COZMO will also attach the Korean food recipe video on its website to introduce how to make Korean food, the statement said.
Su Jung lee, head of KOTRA Amman office, said: “This is the first event to launch Korean food in Jordan. After this event, we hope there will be further cooperation in the food industry between Jordan and Korea.”
