Khasawneh appointed as Cabinet secretary

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday approved the appointment of Ashraf Khasawneh as its secretary. Khasawneh graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Jordan in 1995, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
He has been working for the Prime Ministry since 2000, and assumed several legal and administrative posts within the Legislation and Opinion Bureau, the legal department and the office of the prime minister.
Khasawneh also worked as legal counsellor for several ministers of state for prime ministry affairs and ministers of state for legal affairs, as well as legal counsellor for ministerial committees.
