Jordanian ambassador to Mauritania received by president

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s ambassador to Morocco, Hazim Khatib, presented his credentials to Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, on Thursday as Jordan’s non-resident ambassador to Mauritania, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Khatib conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the Mauritanian leadership and people and His Majesty’s interest in boosting relations between the two countries.
The Mauritanian president voiced his “deep respect” to Jordan, expressing his appreciation to His Majesty’s efforts in dealing with the challenges facing the region, mainly the Palestinian issue.
