Jordan welcomes formation of new government in Lebanon

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Friday, welcomed the formation of a new government in Lebanon.Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abu Al Foul voiced Jordan's support of the move to enable the Lebanese to face challenges and achieve security, stability and prosperity, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
He stressed the Kingdom’s continued support for the Lebanese in a way that mirrors the “deeply-rooted ties” between the countries, wishing the new government success in the interests of the Lebanese people.
