AMMAN — Jordan and Iraq started the implementation of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) recently signed in Amman between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday.
Amman and Baghdad discussed ways of implementing the MoU and sharing Jordanian ICT experience with Iraq.
The Iraqi visit to Jordan aims at facilitating the sharing of expertise in the fields of information technology and communication. The MoU is the first step to expand mutual cooperation at all levels, Jordan said.
Agreements were signed during multiple visits back and forth between Iraq and Jordan, which started with Prime Minister Omar Razzaz’s visit late in 2018, under directives of His Majesty King Abdullah.
