Jordan, GCC talk education cooperation

AMMAN — The fifth meeting of the joint action team consisting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Jordan in the educational field kicked off in Amman on Tuesday.
Education Minister Wajih Owais, during the launching ceremony emphasised the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and the GCC countries, stressing the need to exchange expertise in the education field, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mohammad Al Mahri, Director of the Educational Administration of the General Secretariat of the GCC, said that the meetings would focus on the education sector, and address education at various levels including general education, higher education and technical education.
