Jordan expresses deep concern over situation in Sudan

AMMAN — Jordan has voiced its deep concern over the current situation in Sudan, urging all parties involved to exercise restraint and immediately halt the fighting.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday called for a return to dialogue and calm, stressing the importance of upholding the political framework agreement as a foundation for a new phase that meets the aspirations and ambitions of the Sudanese people.
The statement emphasised that adhering to this agreement would lead to improved security, political stability and economic prosperity in Sudan.
