JIC chief hails role of Jordan’s diplomatic missions in attracting investments

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s diplomatic missions play an important role in attracting foreign investments with added value, and promoting business opportunities and advantages available in Jordan, Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) Acting Chairman Faridoun Hartouqa said on Tuesday.

The JIC, during a training course organised by the Foreign Ministry for several diplomats, said that it offered a comprehensive presentation of the investment environment and the related skills needed for workers in diplomatic missions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the event, Hartouqa highlighted the importance of the role of Jordanian embassies in developing economic ties with the private sectors of other countries so as to attract investments to the Kingdom.
