Industry minister discusses economic cooperation with Arab counterparts

AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Shamali met on Monday with several Arab counterparts to enhance economic ties across various sectors on the sidelines of the sessions of the Economic and Social Council. In talks with Bahraini Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulla Bin Adel Fakhro, Palestinian Minister of National Economy Mohammad Amour and Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam, Shamali went over aspects to enhance economic cooperation with these countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday. The discussions also focused on enhancing trade and mitigating existing barriers, where the ministers underscored the significance of expanding trade relations between Jordan and the markets of their countries and utilising available resources and incentives to facilitate this exchange.
