House speaker meets Algerian, Iraqi diplomats

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi called to build upon the outcomes of His Majesty King Abdullah's summit with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune that occurred one month ago, as well as the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership that was recently held at the Dead Sea.
Safadi's remarks came at meetings held separately with Algerian Ambassador Mohamed Sherif Kourta and Chargé d'Affairs at the Iraqi embassy in Amman Munif Ali Hussein, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During talks with Algerian envoy, Safadi called on strengthening cooperation, especially in field of pharmaceuticals and increasing trade exchange and enhancing cooperation in energy, medical and hotel tourism, transportation, aviation, culture and higher education fields. Meeting with Chargé d'Affaires at the Iraqi embassy, Safadi affirmed Jordan's keenness under His Majesty's leadership to support Iraq in a bid to enhance its security and stability and continue its political process aimed to meet the aspirations and interests of the Iraqi people.
