His Majesty pays visit to King Abdullah II Air Base

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Monday paid a visit to King Abdullah II Air Base, according to a Royal Court statement.
Upon his arrival, His Majesty was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and the Royal Jordanian Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti.
During the visit, the King was briefed on the training and technical issues, in addition to the operational details of the air base.
King Abdullah toured the different departments and held talks with the personnel who acquainted him with the nature of their mandates. He was also briefed on the modernisation and upgrades the base has witnessed.
His Majesty commended the air force personnel and voiced his pride in their distinguished level and high morale, according to the statement.
