Health Ministry to train 16,000 personnel

AMMAN — The head of administrative affairs at the Health Ministry, Abdul Rahman Maani, said Wednesday that the ministry’s plans to train 16,000 medical, nursing, technical and management personnel this year.
Maani said the plan includes training cadres in the field of clinical medicine, dentistry, pharmacology and general medicine. Moreover, he said the plan includes training newly employed doctors at the ministry, now around 300 physicians.
