AMMAN — Health Minister Nathir Obeidat on Thursday decided to amend the price of the polymerise chain reaction (PCR) test in private laboratories, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

During a press briefing, Obeidat noted that the cost of the testing, which is conducted to detect COVID-19 infections, will range between JD25 and JD28.

The minister urged private labs to adhere to the newly set fees, adding that the ministry will directly follow up on any complaints or reports of violations, Petra reported.
