Hawatmeh meets with Arab Police Sport Federation chief

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Saturday met with Brigadier Khalid Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, President of Qatar and Arab Police Sport Federations.

The two sides discussed means of maintaining and enhancing police sport amid the exceptional circumstances of the pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Hawatmeh lauded Attiyah’s efforts towards enhancing the two federations partnership with the Jordanian and Qatari police. During the meeting, Attiyah commended the Jordanian police’s sport achievements in various fields, expressing appreciation of the PSD’s efforts towards supporting police sport.

He also expressed the federations’ keenness on building on the Kingdom’s experiences in this field through exchanging expertise and conducting championships.
