AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry is following up on the accident that took place on Friday when a fire engulfed a Jordanian bus in the Saudi Buraydah region.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed Qatarneh said on Saturday that no Jordanians were harmed in the accident and all the passengers are on their way to the Kingdom except one, whose passport was burnt, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Qatarneh also commented on complaints filed by Jordanian citizens in Medinah Munawwara against a company facilitating travel for the Hajj and umra. The citizens charged that the company had violated their contract in relation to accommodations, and Qatarneh said that the ministry had contacted the authorities in Jeddah and the agency solved the problem.
Qatarneh added that the ministry will follow up to make sure that all the passengers have been provided with accommodation, according to the terms of their signed contracts, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
