AMMAN — Finance Minister Omar Malhas on Sunday night checked on the new services provided at the Queen Alia International Airport’s (QAIA) customs centre, which included air freight and in-advance clearance services that will be available 24/7.
Malhas added that activating the in-advance clearance service is in accordance with the government’s plan related to the one-window clearance approach, where merchants and freight companies can make clearance on goods once they are shipped, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
He also expressed keenness to support all private sector institutions that seek development, noting that improving such services reflects positively on the macro-economy.
