EU-Jordan committee meets in Amman

AMMAN — The EU-Jordan Subcommittee on Human Rights, Governance and Democracy held its 10th meeting in Amman on Monday, the EU delegation in Jordan said.
Representatives of Jordanian authorities, the EU and EU member states attended the meeting, the EU delegation said in a statement released on Tuesday. The participants discussed developments in the Middle East and their impact on Jordan, as well as the importance of continuing cooperation to address regional instability.
The EU and Jordan agreed on the need for a multi-faceted approach through cooperation on security, migration, trade, economic stability and governance, the statement said.
