Electoral commission to evaluate polling centres

AMMAN — The Independent Elections Commission (IEC) will launch in August a project to evaluate and accredit polling stations in the Kingdom, in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, IEC President Riyadh Shakaa said Monday.
The project aims to enhance the quality of services offered to voters, according to Shakaa. The assessment will cover more than 4,000 centres through field inspections in cooperation with the Education Ministry and other IEC partners.
