Deputy House speaker calls for more support in war on terror

AMMAN — Lower House First Deputy Speaker Khamis Atiyeh on Monday called on the international community to boost support for Jordan in its war against terrorism, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In remarks at a meeting with Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Abu Taher Mondal, Atiyeh said Jordan looks forward to boosting ties with India, especially in economic, political and cultural fields.
He said Jordan needs more assistance from India and the international community to be able to continue providing services to the Syrian refugees.
