AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussien met on Thursday with students who have qualified to compete in the 2019 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, to be held in Arizona, the US, on May 12 through 18.

Crown Prince Hussein wished the students luck in the competition, expressing hope that their participation would enable them to hone their skills and exchange experiences with their peers from around the world, according to a Royal Court statement.

A total of 21 students from public and private schools from around the Kingdom are participating in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair this year, alongside around 2,000 students from over 80 countries.

Over the past three years, Jordanian students participating in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair won several awards — five in 2018, 11 in 2017 and two in 2016.
