Committee to probe cause of Jordan Valley fire

NORTHERN GHOR — A committee, comprising members of the Jordan Valley Authority and the agriculture directorate of Northern Ghor District will check on the site of a fire that erupted in the Wadi Al Rayan area and assess the damage.
Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel extinguished the fire on Sunday.
The committee will prepare a report on the causes of the fire, which reached Jordan from the West Bank, spreading through dry grass to reach around 100 dunums of citrus farms and forest trees.
