AMMAN — The chambers of commerce elections will be postponed until January 12 after a failure to meet quorum, except for the Ramtha Chamber of Commerce, the Independent Election Commission (IEC) announced on Saturday.
According to Article 9A of the 2003 Temporary Law of Chambers of Commerce No. 70, reelections would be in order if two-thirds of the members registered in the final tables of all chambers of commerce did not cast their ballots, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
