IEC chairman meets with election supervisors

AMMAN — Chairman of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) Musa Maaytah on Sunday met with heads and members of committees supervising the 2022 elections of the Chambers of Commerce in the Northern and Southern regions of the Kingdom.

He voiced his keenness to hold the upcoming elections, praising the previous Chamber of Industry elections. He stressed that the IEC will not allow any disruptions to the flow of the electoral process, in order to ensure that ballot boxes remain intact.

The IEC Board of Commissioners set next December 3 as the date for voting in the event that the legal quorum for the meeting of the General Assembly is met.
