Border Guards foil attempt to smuggle 160,000 narcotic pills

AMMAN — An official source of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army on Wednesday said Border Guards foiled an attempt to smuggle in 160,000 narcotic pills, in which a person coming from Syria was involved.
The guards responded to the situation in line with the rules of engagement, during which the involved suspect was killed. The seized drugs were referred to the concerned authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
