Amman mayor joins sanitation workers for iftar

AMMAN — Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji on Tuesday joined the sanitation workers of the Muqabalein and Qweismeh areas for an iftar banquet held by the municipality at King Abdullah II Park.
Biltaji said sanitation workers are the ones responsible for the first impression of Amman through their efforts maintain its streets, neighbourhoods and sidewalks.
The mayor listened to the sanitation workers’ remarks and observations and checked on the facilities of the King Abdullah II Park, which serves east Amman, noting that it will be ready to receive visitors in time for Eid Al Fitr, the feast marking the end of the fasting month.
