4.7 earthquake recorded in Kingdom’s south

AMMAN — The Jordan Seismological Observatory said an earthquake was recorded on Saturday in the area of Ghor Fifa in Wadi Araba.
The observatory said the quake measured 4.7 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 14 kilometres.
The quake was felt by the residents of Karak and Tafileh, extending up to the area of the Queen Alia International Airport.
