AMMAN — The US embassy in Jordan on Thursday denied issuing any warnings to US citizens residing in the Kingdom.
Spokesperson for the embassy Eric Barbee said that it was not a warning, but it was an annual routine guiding statement, adding that no changes have been made on previous instructions regarding travelling to Jordan’s land borders with Iraq and Syria.
Some media outlets reported US embassy warnings to its citizens in Jordan on possible terrorist attacks near the borders with Iraq and Syria.
