AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Monday stressed the stability of all Lebanese banks operating in the Kingdom and other banks in Jordan, all of which are subject to CBJ monitoring and supervision.
In a statement, the CBJ said that the risks to banks operating in the Kingdom, including Lebanese banks, as a result of the political situation in Lebanon are "very limited" and that the situation poses no financial risks to the safety of depositors' money at any of these banks.
