AMMAN — Central Amman Police detained a suspect for having allegedly killed a man in his late fifties in the Um Teena neighbourhood in Ashrafieh, the Public Security Department (PSD) media centre reported on Wednesday.
A week ago, the victim’s body was found by the staircase of his house after he was stabbed multiple times.
Investigations led the police to the suspect, an Arab national in his thirties.
As the suspect could not be found in his house, police continued their search until they identified his hideout and detained him.
The suspect confessed to killing the man over a personal dispute.
He was referred to court, according to the PSD media office.
