AMMAN — The Jordanian field hospital in Gaza has treated more than 18,000 patients and performed 41 major surgeries and 16 minor surgeries since its establishment, according to a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) on Monday.
The hospital commander said, "The hospital is a royal humanitarian gesture and a continuation of Jordan's tradition of providing aid since its founding in 2009."
He stressed that the medical teams are committed to providing high-quality medical and therapeutic services to the people of Gaza.
The implementation of the hospital was based on the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces. The hospital aims to support medical and health services in Gaza.
Patients expressed their gratitude for Jordan's continued support and the Kingdom's solidarity, which was demonstrated in the establishment of the field hospital and its continued operation.
