Registration for Dead Sea Ultra Marathon opens

AMMAN — Under the patronage of HRH Prince Firas Bin Raad, the 26th edition of the Aquafina Dead Sea Ultra Marathon will take place on March 25, according to the Jordanian Marathon Association. The race, held under the slogan "Run in the lowest spot in the world", is organised by the association in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Sunday.

Prince Firas stressed the importance of the association’s mission to encourage healthy habits and attract tourists. The race is divided into three categories: A 50km ultra marathon, a 21km half marathon and a 10km race.  A children's race will be held in Al Hussein Gardens on April 5. Registration for the marathon has opened on the association’s website runjordan.com, and is open until March 24. Registration can be completed on the association’s website or through the association’s office in Shmeisani.
