AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Wednesday attended the graduation of the first class of Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), held at the Cultural Palace.

Crown Prince Hussein presented certificates to graduates of the Bachelor of Science and Technical Degree programmes in engineering and computer science specialties, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Royal Highness also honoured the top student, Saif Siouf, and former HTU presidents Wajih Owais and Labib Khadra.

At the graduation, HTU President Ismael Hinti said the university aims to provide the local and regional labour markets with highly trained and qualified youths specialised in engineering and computer sciences.

The HTU, housed at the King Hussein Business Park with 1,400 students enrolled, was established four years ago and is part of the Crown Prince Foundation’s initiatives.
