House speaker, UAE ambassador discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi and UAE’s Ambassador to Jordan Ahmed Ali Balushi on Tuesday discussed means of enhancing joint cooperation in all fields, notably in parliamentary fields. 

Dughmi emphasised the importance of maintaining Jordan-UAE consultations over issues of shared interest, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Balushi expressed his country’s appreciation for the Kingdom’s stances in support of regional issues, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.  

The envoy also praised the role of the Jordanian competencies in pushing forward the Gulf country’s development efforts.
