AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and the Health Ministry, on Monday dispatched a medical aid plane to Lebanon.
The JHCO, in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that the plane is loaded with medical supplies that will be sent to the concerned authorities to support Lebanon during the current difficult conditions.
JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli said that following Royal directives, the organisation contacted the Health Ministry to secure medical supplies and coordinated with the JAF to provide a plane to send the assistance to the “brotherly” Lebanese people.
The JHCO, since the explosion of the Beirut Port, has sent five planes loaded with aid, mainly power generators, food and medical items, Petra added.
