Jaber border crossing reopened for cargo traffic — Interior Ministry

AMMAN — The Jaber border crossing with Syria was reopened for cargo traffic on Wednesday. Passengers and cargo traffic at the crossing had been halted temporarily for security reasons, an official source at the Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday.
He stressed that the decision was made due to security developments in Syria.
President of the Association of Owners of Clearance and Transport Companies Daif Allah Abu Aqouleh said that back-to-back shipment is being applied for Syria and Lebanon imports, as well as Jordanian exports, until further notice, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
