AMMAN — Following Royal directives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Saturday directed stakeholders at the Royal Medical Services (RMS) to transport Farah Salim, a child, from the Gaza Strip to Jordan and provide her medical treatment at RMS hospitals.

Salim had appealed to His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on social media to receive treatment in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Salim will be transferred from Gaza to the King Hussein Medical Centre to be treated at His Majesty’s expense under the supervision of a specialised medical team. For their part, Salim’s family expressed their appreciation and gratitude for King Abdullah’s humanitarian gesture, praising JAF’s medical and humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip over the years.
