AMMAN — Jordanian-Emirati relations have formed a “strong guarantor” for Arab national security and a basis for regional and international peace and stability owing to both countries similar stances over issues of mutual interest, Jordanian Ambassador to the UAE Juma Abbadi said on Sunday.
The diplomat added that the UAE’s participation in Jordan’s centennial celebrations reflects the “deep-rooted” ties between the two countries, their leaderships and peoples, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Highlighting the commercial ties, Abbadi noted that Emirati investments in Jordan stand at some $17 billion and the trade volume in the first 10 months of 2020 amounted to $818 million.
