72 COVID patients arrested for breaking home quarantine — Faraiah

AMMAN — Police have arrested 72 COVID-19 patients for breaking home quarantine in violation of defence orders, Interior Minister Mazen Faraiah said on Tuesday.
The arrested have been sent to field hospitals to complete their isolation period. In implementation of defence orders, several people who violated quarantine and completed their isolation period in field hospitals have been referred to judicial authorities and face a fine of JD500, the minister said.
Inspection tours to ensure individuals and institutions’ abidance with defence orders and public health requirements are ongoing, he added, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
