Tourism minister meets Saudi ambassador

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Nayef Al Fayez on Thursday met with Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Al Sudairi and discussed means to increase the flow of tourists between both countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting held at the ministry, Fayez reaffirmed the strong Jordan-Saudi Arabia relations, adding that joint promotional campaigns will be launched to serve both kingdoms.
Highlighting Jordan’s “unique” touristic attributes, Fayez stressed the importance of deepening cooperation between travel agencies in the two countries.
Sudairi also noted that he witnessed a sense of safety and security as well as similarity in traditions between the two kingdoms while visiting a number of Jordanian governorates.
Packed with events, the Saudi winter marks a “unique” tourist experience, Sudairi said, highlighting the versatile weather conditions enjoyed by visitors at this time of the year.
