King reaffirms pride in JAF’s role in protecting Jordan’s borders

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, met on Monday with JAF unit commanders, as part of a series of army outreach meetings.
At the meeting, attended by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, King Abdullah reaffirmed his pride in JAF’s advanced level and their role in safeguarding Jordan’s borders, according to a Royal Court statement.
The meeting also covered a number of topics, including regional developments.
His Majesty stressed Jordan’s strong ties with Arab countries, as well as other countries in the region and around the world.
The King was briefed by the unit commanders on operational, logistical and training-related issues, as well as plans to further enhance performance.
The commanders also stressed their units’ readiness and high morale.
