King visits JAF Central Command, commends army personnel’s professionalism

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, visited the General Command of the JAF on Tuesday.

King Abdullah was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and a number of senior JAF officers, according to a Royal Court statement

His Majesty met with Huneiti and was briefed on a number of operational, logistical, and training-related issues of concern to JAF, as well as plans for military modernisation.

The King was also briefed on efforts by JAF personnel to safeguard Jordan’s borders.

His Majesty commended JAF personnel’s readiness and their professionalism in upholding their duties.
